Fridge/ Freezer on ehu

Hi all, how long for freezer to reach full capacity on Benimar motor home on EHU thanks for help

Not sure on exact times as depends on if putting already frozen items in or wanting to freeze fresh.
Cools quicker on gas in ours.
When we go away we tend to switch gas on 1-2hours in advance and throw ice blocks in there and fridge. Load up and switch to battery when leaving.

Hi thanks, I’ve put some water in ice cube container and got it on EHU. I’m clueless but was advised to put on EHU for 24 hrs before travelling overnight if I wanted stuff frozen cheers

The fridge will get down to temperature in a few hours longer if the weather is hot the freezer probably overnight. In summer often put ours on the day before going away in the winter I don't bother.

Most advice is to store already frozen items and not try to use the freezer to actually freeze down items from fresh - takes longer than you think - will be better on gas

Thanks all just checked ice container and already frozen after 2 hours
