Simple problem, but I suspect a complex solution! Our fridge has stopped working on gas. It ignites, the needle moves to the right and stays there, but it cools not at all. As we discovered in our first night off grid...
It's a commendably large Dometic in a 2017 Bailey Autograph 794t. It works fine on electric. I suspect its a job for a fridge technician, if such an artisan exists, but is there possibly a simple solution?

This probably doesn't help much but it may be an explanation. We had a fridge which would light but didn't cool and the problem was it was only lit in the "pilot light" mode. What it wasn't doing was turning on the much more powerful flame which is used for cooling.

Can you hear a roaring when it lights? It won't be loud but you should be able to hear it.

If it is making a roaring sound but still isn't cooling the flue might need cleaning but I would be surprised if this would happen with a 2017 MH.

There are 'fridge repairers but I can't help for where you live.

Cleaning the flue first, then if that doesnt work, try cleaning the burner, if that doesnt work, change the burner.

Presumption made that you have had it on working previously on gas in the warm ?

Has it been quite hot today and and were your vents facing some hot sun ? Might be worthy of getting some fans if you havent got them, Amazon will be your friend

Making sure you were level ?

Probably best to try them first

Ta - it was working fine when last away, then this outing it isn't! Can't hear "roaring" noise, but don't recall ever hearing anything when it's working.
It was cold when first got here and we went off grid. Has always worked fine whatever the weather before. Van always levelled with hydraulics.
Not sure where I'd find the flue or burners, and my faith in my DIY skills is limited! Suspect fridge man is required...
