Fridge cooling fans

I am fitting thermostatically controlled fridge fans (Dometic 3 way) but wondering where to locate the temperature sensor if I am only wanting them to run in hot weather, to improve cooling efficiency.?

Mine was in the condenser fins on the left hand side. But it does depend on what the cut in temperature is, doesn't matter what the weather is like, it's the refrigerant condensing temperature that you want to control
