Fresh water tank fittings?

Hi there Funsters.
My Knaus MH has a threaded cap on the fresh water tank. Has anyone ever seen a hose type connector cap for this threaded type?

The ”universal” hose adapters do not fit this threaded type even though I have tried. I usually end up with wet trousers and shoes - which amuses my wife.

If it's a standard IBC thread, this will work.

If it’s the connection / tapping into the tank itself more than likely a bsp standard thread.
As said a photo would help answer your question.

That looks like an IBC thread. To confirm, the diameter should measure 2 inches.

If measuring confirms the above then the fitting in post #4 will allow you to connect a hose with a quick fit female fitting.
