Just planning a trip back from Spain to Dover in November and trying to avoid the winter tyre zones. We plan to cross from Spain to France on the A7/E15 Col Du Perthus and then head (via the valley roads) Perpignan, Narbonne, Carcassonne, Toulouse and North. I would think this is all low enough to be outside the Zones with the possibe exception of the Col Du Perthus 271metres.
I have tried to look this up on the French website but they dont seem to have any maps with the zones/roads marked.
Wondered if anyone knew?

If you carry a set of chains or socks you don't need winter tyres. It's either or. (Or both if you wish)

The following list of Departments is cribbed from The Connexion newspaper last year. You will notice that the whole border region is covered with the exception of Bouches-du-Rhone for obvious reasons. The decision is given to the Departments to make and they appear to reserve the right to react to weather conditions as they see fit. November ought to be safe but who knows nowadays?

Some 34 departments will enforce the requirements across at least some of their area this year, with 4,170 communes and 4,263,400 residents affected.

The 48 departments in which winter tyre rules can be imposed are: Ain, Allier, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardèche, Ariège, Aude, Aveyron, Cantal, Côte d’Or, Creuse, Doubs, Drôme, Eure-et-Loir, Gard, Haute-Garonne, Hérault, Isère, Jura, Loire, Haute-Loire, Lot, Lozère, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Nièvre, Puy-de-Dôme, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Orientales, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Rhône, Haute-Saône, Saône-et-Loire, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Var, Vaucluse, Haute-Vienne, Vosges, Yonne, Territoire de Belfort, Corse du Sud and Haute-Corse.

Planning on doing a Christmas market run this year, is there any guidance on other European countries requirements…specifically Belgium and Germany?

We have a set of chains but the NEW set of Maxxis Camper are winter tyres with the New Mountain symbol as required by the EU so we have no worries so going Calais, Bordeaux, Zaragoza, Alicante

I must put my chains in the motorhome. Very cheap ones and I am probably too decrepit to fit them. We will be returning through France mid October and our vet is in Vosges.
