Since 2005! 2000+ nights so far...
this just popped up

Its a satnav for your phone, fully featured TomTom, and all offline maps for Europe and beyond (you can download the maps you need)

We've used it since the beta versions and use it for car, bike and van - and link with Android Auto as its simply better than the van OEM satnav.

Live traffic (as in so accurate it can tell you where the back of a queue is) and speed cameras/saftey zones etc.

Anyway, just FYI if you want to try it out for free
(obviously keep an eye on your free subscription in case it tries to renew after 12mths)

IME the price hasn't increased since we took it out - so we pay £12.99/y and its not gone up for us whereas new subs have. Also we run it on multiple phones (me + wife) on the same account.

Hope someone finds this useful

I like OpenStreetMaps, OSM can be downloaded free from Play Store etc. You load up the maps so do not need to have any phone signal. Various upgrades if you wish. At the moment I tend to use our TomTom Camper device when driving and OSM when walking or cycling.
I will drop it in favour of OSM after TomTom stops being supported by it's 'Lifetime' promise.

Thank you for the link to TomTom, having used Google, Apple, Co-Pilot and Magic Earth recently for my navigation I’ll give TomTom a go.
