Having thought about it I now think this is a bad idea.

Whenever I hit the “ what’s new” button all I get is a load of threads about someone leaving a review..

That is going to drive me nuts as are notifications that something I have left a review on has been reviewed :swear2:

I really hope it is, but we both know it won't continue beyond a little surge today and maybe tomorrow'\

You could get very busy Jim reviewing the reviews to see if they qualify for the promised reward.

Well, I'm a bit confused on this "Reviews" issue. In the U shaped lounge we have a thread asking "Is 3 the worst network?" people are putting forwards their experiences of 3 for and against other networks, so a reader of the thread could gather some info and make a judgement as to subscribe to 3 or a different network.

What if the OP had put up a review of 3 saying "3 is the worst network". This would not then gather other peoples experiences of 3 and other networks, so it could be said that a review is of less use than a thread in one of the forums ??

Reviews have their own thread so do exactly as you describe, but stay within reviews for easy location and comparison with others (y)

I think that a potential problem will be where a 'new' review heading is created for an item when that item already exists, thus cluttering the whole place up.

For example, there is already a review section for SAP Doncaster and a separate one for SAP Ltd, when from reading the reviews for the two items it would appear that they are for the same company.

That can't happen now because I've removed the option to add an item. It the thing you want to review is not there there is now a link to ask me to add it (y)

Should there be a review area for major campsites, CLs and suchlike sites. The informal Aires and Britstop spaces aren't the only places we might like to stay at. Having said that, is it a potential duplication of all the "best campsites" section, and is it desirable to create a MHF version of other camping parking apps or advisor type listings?
