I’m going to France for up to 90 days in April and researching the best way to satisfy my need for mobile data.
In the UK I have a Smarty unlimited sim in the van which I activate and suspend depending on my travels. Smarty will only give me 12gb although I know there are other monthly renewable providers where you can get 20gb. I want more but don’t want to be tied into a long term contract.
Thinking there must be a similar French version I’ve come across Free, a French mobile provider. They have a deal just now and from what I can understand it’s monthly renewable and for €19.99pm you get 210gb.
Has anyone come across this, of have a Free sim?
What I’m trying to understand is
I can only see an option to phone them for assistance but I don’t speak France to the level to discuss this. I was hoping to be able to use google translate and email but don’t see an email address.
If no one knows the above I can always wait till I get to France and visit one of their stores but I’d prefer to have it sorted before I go.
Thanks for any help on this.

What I’m trying to understand is
- If I order online will they accept and post a SIM card to the UK?
- When I leave France can I cancel the agreement online?
