Yes they are! I call it the Covid trip! They all pay to be rammed in nice and tight, next to each other. One sodding drink ,a nibble and some shit music,.Then the poor feckers end up freezing because the sun has gone down and to top it all when they sail past our camping location some daft Brit drops his drawers and moons them ! It's the only entertainment they get.

And so it goes from bad to worse! Our last day in Fisterria and were getting a little shit faced in a bar. Twice we have asked for La Quenta! Only to order another round of drinks when the bill is presented. Dave and Msggie have now abandoned their evening meal plans and the frozen chips I bought on the way back have defrosted ! Were now telling each other funny stories about motorhoming and our shared adventures and El Chefio is startng to slide down his chair onto the floor like the lightweight he is. I'm getting into my stride now and getting the glad eye from the young female bar staff. Nothing really changes! There both going to be disappointed!.

Right! We're getting into a flecking stupid converstation now! Crossword clue! Five letters, Seals arm, ends in r .... First reply......Skippy !!!
Oh Please!!

That's a shame.we had wine a couple of glasses and blankets if needed but this was about 4 years ago.

Today we left Finiterra after 12 days. We had a great time with Dave, Maggie, Dennis and Jenny. We thought we would drive out to yhe lighthouse and when we got there it was already rammed with visitors and looking out towards America one could see no more than 50 feet due to sea fog! We did not hang around and drove to our next destination, Muxia which is another stunning port and the Aire was full but luckily one of the tourist coaches was loading up and we hung around for 20 minutes and got in when it pulled out. So now off to explore the port.

Lunch and 4 massive lobsters in top of tank behind Mena. Only 65 euros each.
I've ordered Galician cod and spuds for us and we're sharing g a dish that's been recommended to us by the staff and I don't have a clue what it is or how much it costs. Sweating a bit now .

Well they eat very well here! Loads and loads of very fresh fish and shellfish on offer at the majority of restaurants and most of them were full with the vast majority eating fish dishes and for a poor country it would seem many prefer the upper end of the fish menu. On our way back to the moyorhome for a siesta we came across a little bar that was doing an outside BBQ with loads of meat, sausages etc and very, very popular with tables and chairs placed in the road which traffic seemed quite happy navigating their way around. Not very hygenic with fag in mouth and little cleaning of hands but the locals were happy to wait for very large portions of meat.

Siesta over and out for a stroll and a few beers! Looks like much of the town I'd out with ques forming at some restaurants before they open. Definitely some superb fresh sea food to be had here. Some of the older properties behind the main road are memorable, to say the least.

Today we drove through the showers to Betanzos. The Sat.Nav. took us through the centre of the town rather than use the ring road into the Aire which would have been so simple. The Aire was full but there is waste ground next to the Aire which would accomodate anouther umpteen motorhomes and the location is very good right on the doorstep of the town. The town has history which is very evident as soon as you enter and start the steep vlimb up into the centre. Plenty to explore here me thinks. There is also a small park next to the Aire that offers loads of shelter.

Some good pics and time for a few beers...ideal.🍻

Looks like your weather has improved quicker than ours. We're between Vigo and Pontevedra atm. Parked on a port for the night. The "bad" weather is set to clear after the weekend.

a fine beach and lots of bars and restaurants were the locals are displaying there passion for good sea food and clearly enjoy good eating. For a country that is poor some of there people eat extremely well and not many lard asses in sight either.

I like it here! It's a warm breeze, the tide is going out and the locals are fishing from the quey side and catching nothing. Its a social thing. I'm doing hammer time watching them. Cheers !

I assume you mean Foz, Lungo, Spain as distinct from the Foz in Portugal. Looks too big for the Portugal one!

Today we are going to push the boat out and go for an expensive lunch. This appears to be a very popular restaurant and we have managed to get a seat in the corner and order our drinks and food. This place will be full in the next 30minutes and filling up fast outside. Thank god for Google translator. Let's play a game ! I'll post a picture of the meal, see who can guess the price!

The meal! No starter, just main course, 2 beers, 1 water.
The chips look like they have been cooked in a tumble dryer. However the meat is superb.
How much, all in ???
