Forget 'snow' ... the forum has been invaded by loads of 'hearts'!!!!

No hearts here in Suffolk either. Perhaps the Head Honcho is picky about who he loves?

Nobody likes me
Everybody hates me
Guess I'll go eat worms
Big, fat, juicy ones
Long, thin, slimy ones
Itsy bitsy, fuzzy wuzzy worms. :crying:

This place is gettin' worse!!!!!

Wonder if the gaffer's getting really scared of Minxy like the rest of us and he's trying to disguise it by annoying a select other few?:unsure::unsure:

And very nice they are too!
couldn’t see any earlier when I popped in earlier this morning, they’d obviously stopped, but can see them now, how sweet..

Yip, the gaffer has obviously taken on board my previous post and realised we can see through him like a pane of glass!:giggler:

Oh! They were just in the top banner a minute ago which made me wonder why there were some comments about how annoying they were.

Just popped back in now and the bloody things (see what I did there?) are everywhere!

The snow was quite pleasant, the hearts are a nuisance.

I'll come back tomorrow which I believe is the traditional day for the arguments about why today's gift or card wasn't sufficient or was far too much or was wrong in some other way.

Mrs fishplug and I met not long before valentine's day and the first one was quite tense. She'd told me she didn't believe in Valentine's day and that she didn't want anything (normally this is a sign that someone secretly really wants you to make a fuss and spoil them).

I took her at her word (Im a 'say what you mean and mean what you say' person) and so as the day progressed she was getting tense because she thought I was going to spring a surprise on her, I could see she was getting tense and assumed that it was because I hadn't sprung a surprise on her....

Eventually it became clear that neither of us had done anything special for the day (other than worry about it!) and the relief for both of us was palpable.

We've never even thought about it again since then. Non event in our household.

If a bit of fun really winds you up, then you probably joined the wrong forum. '\
A little tip! We celebrate Valentines Day on the 15th, everything is half the price!(y)

TBH I don't think you can beat valentines day for some cheap super market food. Co-op £10 for main course, side and bottle of wine. Morrisons - starter, main course, side, dessert and wine for £15  So we're doing Valentines today and tomorrow!!

It appears we have 2 Valentine's days this year as the forum still has the hearts on it! Jim's either a big romantic or he's forgotten to turn them off in his old age!
