Hi
Has anyone used the Fogstar app with two of the drift batteries in parallel. Does the app monitor the batteries as a parallel pair, or do you have to monitor each battery individually i.e. one at a time.

Cheers PaulandChrissy

Can't help regarding Fogstar but with KS energys app for their batteries, it can only see them as 2 separate batteries. Bound to be someone on here using the Fogstar app who can confirm whether they are the same or not.

Having a separate BMS in each battery I would assume that each battery will be monitored separately.
If you fit a Victron Smart Shunt or BMV712 that will monitor the overall setup.

Hi Lenny HB
I do have a Votronic shunt with display that gives me overall consumption and SOC, but I was wondering if the Fogstar app would aggregate the power or just display each BMS separately. As you say, it probably only monitors them one at a time. Time will tell when they arrive and I connect to them. Just as a point of interest for you. I have asked Fogstar if they can add a new STORAGE/CAMPING mode button in the app that can toggle from one mode to the other to maintain the battery’s at the optimal SOC while the Motorhome is not in use. This would solve the worry that many people have about what SOC should they be left when not in use. They came back to me indicating that they are looking into the possibility of adding that function. That could be a result if they do it.
