I understand that they make a 300 amp £500 without the app, battery that will fit under my drivers seat (2019) Fiat heavy chassis Burstner IEXO 736 but a second one will not fit under the passenger seat? Shame as it will keep the weight away from over the rear axle, Looking to increase my present 2 x 100 amp Lithium. As they are 5 years old no mix and match. The other options are 2 x 175 amp lithium pro at £175 each but that is a lot of money for an extra 50 amps. Or to go mad and have the 628 amp fog star if I can find somewhere to fit it and it weighs a lot.
Sensible head all very well having the amp capacity but the energy has to come from somewhere. We are Tomar Portugal (18c) today but even with 700 watts of solar we still in company with others run our genny for an hour a day to keep topped up. No hook ups We run a Dometic CX 35 freezer. Feel that the bigger battery will spend most of the trip half charged so is the extra capacity worth it.

If you are half charged in that scenario, extra capacity will only give you a bit extra time. Ultimately, as you said, energy has to come from somewhere. If you have no need for heavy instant power draw, then I would stay with the capacity you got.

Yes I just wanted a bit more as we are away a lot out of season but have to balance
