OK great I think I am getting it its simpler than I thought! Ive been thrown off the sent with connecting cords with crimps. If you dont mind me asking when you say hold the screen open you mean so there is no fly screen across the door?

Yes, you could do it as closed but I found it easier to get it held open so all threads pulled into place, make sure any guides in the channels are in place or the cord will rub

I take it the restringing worked then lol
Not got the string yet but it’s ordered now and it’s cleared a whole load of spaghetti from my brain and I can see daylight again. Thought I was going mad. I’ve been squinting at diagrams for hours my readers have had to go up from 2.0 to 3.5’s and then wear two pairs.

My door blind has also snapped it’s not just the restringing I have a problem with it’s getting the frame out built into units

Get a professional to do it for £90 and it will take him 2 hours (against your 5-10 hours)

Took less than an hour to do the last one and an hour to remove, now I know what to do it would be more like 30 mins to string it and an hour to remove and fit.
£90 notes to 2 hrs, wish I could find a few saps a week that are prepared to pay that.
Do they remove blind for that amount
Yes.
Mark at Breeze Blinds,
removed the entire fly screen out of the frame.
Restrung it lying flat on the ground,
and then refitted, including finding out why it had broken in the first place (a proud internal screw, which was replaced).
Plus whilst he was about it, he also fixed 3 of my Remis blinds in the cab doors.
(Which took him 10 mins)
The entire job took him 2 hours, which I thought was reasonable as the other option would have been to attempt myself.
The DIY sheet gives a time of 5 hours. I simply do not have the patience or the skill to attempt such a job on my own.

There is at least one company that is running a business solely on fixing and replacing blinds on Motorhomes, caravans and yachts.
He does not do anything else.
He's been in the trade since he was 16 and is now the wrong side of 50.
He does not appear to have any shortage of customers.
Maybe you could be his young apprentice ?

You do come across very condescending and patronising, you know nothing of or about me, you should really hold your tongue on making assumptions on people until such time as you know something about them.

I restrung my six string door fly screen yesterday.
This is the model where you have three strings into a crimp at top and bottom and single strings to the adjusters. ( Hope this makes sense ).
Just make sure the crimps are located and tensioned about 50mm from the top and bottom.
I couldn’t remember this from previous restringing. I tensioned them up 200mm from top and bottom.
Reassembled and it worked perfectly apart from the screen only closing two thirds of the way.
It filled my day restringing it all a second time
All working now.

Just restrung according to Burstner Hartal diagram above. Now got to bend it back into the vanView attachment 1094382
Nice one, and you did not need to go to the experts at Breeze Blinds.
Nope! We bumped a load of cash into our lovely van and now it’s up to me to keep the wheels rolling. Sir Kier pays my monthly income but that’s it. So it’s DIY everything. But some folks get great enjoyment and satisfaction!

Taken a bit of a risk? and not used Kevlar.
Went for 1.2mm UHMWPE which is supposedly stronger than Kevlar so we will see how it performs.
Now I know my way around the project I would concur it’s about 30 minutes in and out and a couple of hours to dismantle and restring.
