There is a continuing threat of flooding in Bavaria.

A fireman has tragically lost his life and one is missing in a separate incident.

31 miles of the A9 Autobahn between Ingolstadt and Munich is closed.

A firefighter was killed when the rubber dinghy he was riding on capsized during severe flooding, and at least two people are missing in south Germany as the region braces for more rainstorms. DW has the latest.

We will be crossing into Germany after our stay in Garda towards the end of June heading to Fussen then Rothenberg. Fingers crossed it improves!

We ve been in Carinthia during this period.
There have been thunderstorms every day but the last week has been hot.
Tuesday and Wednesday this week aren't good but then 25-26 for at least 10 days.

Ingolstadt motorway was closed towards Munich for 31 miles last week owing to flooding. I think it was dam damage.
