i Can’t find any leaks as yet but at night I get the water pump kick in for maybe one or two grunts, maybe up to twice a night. The pump is under the bed and right under my head so it usually wakes me up.

It’s a fairly new pump and I just swapped out the old non-working one with this.

Any suggestions as to what look for / any adjustments I need to make?
cheers!

My Surflo does it now and then. I always turn the pump off at night so not a prob.

It may be just the hot water cooling in a pipe with a bit of trapped air causing a slight reduction in water pressure which the pump has to compensate for. May be worth running some cold through the pipes before you go to bed or possibly try fitting an expansion tank in the line.

Most probably a small leak somewhere. Could be a dripping tap, Truma valve or drain valve. Could also be pressure getting back past pump seals, new pumps have been known to have contaminated particles.

I had this for months it kept getting worse them one day I noticed water dripping underneath the van, it was a faulty fitting at floor level that I hadn't noticed was leaking.

Not unusual. I put it down to contraction and turn the pump off at night.

Hi people...my flo jet R3426 has become very noisy....it has a bad rattle as though bearings or something is loose/worn...also when it is turned off it pulses, just once and then a few minutes later it does it again...I can't see any leaks..it pulses all night so I turn it off...
Can I take it apart and maybe clean or grease it , and is it easy to do...or should I just replace it...the model is R3426 and I can't find one, just a 3526...I'm assuming that's an upgraded model...
