My Kingham has been laid up for a few months. Out and about this evening whilst running water from the tap the cabin lights were flickering rapidly as the pump ran. The sureflow pump is relatively new as are the batteries that are quite new so l don't think that is the source.
The lights appear to be much much brighter too
Has anyone any thoughts what the problem could be.

Has it been laid up on ehu? What type of batteries? Do you know their charge levels? Answers to these will help those in the know. For me, it has usually indicated low battery voltage.

Corrosion on the light, pump or both switches, or anywhere from battery to load.
All I can think of, assuming the battery can deliver.
Pulsating light, is equal to voltage drop DC ripple.
As the voltage drops, the light dims, as it recovers, the light is brighter, In some place has developed high resistance to cause voltage to drop when the high load is on( pump). It could be the pump circuit.

Thank you Raul & Cush, sorry about my delayed reply.
The van is parked up working off solar not EHU. Two x 100 an batteries year old and fully charged.
I've refitted some of the electric wire connectors that were crudely linked from the pump and batteries.

Sounds like Raul was on the money. Should be an easy enough fix 🤞
