Tents, Folding camper,Hired MoHo, now bought our own.
Mileage flashing after rectifying air bag module, as I've been reading is it a "proxy alignment" I need, and is it an auto electrician type job. I've been recommended an audio guy ( thinking he deals in lots of wires etc and solves issues with replacement head units)

Haven't asked him yet waiting to see what the experts think.

Cheers Brian

Our local guy tried 3 different machines to try and reset but failed.
I sent ours to crashtestdata who reset and returned however other Funsters were no so happy with them.

Air bag module is sorted( northern autotech)
Just the flashing mileage to sort out now.

You need diagnostics such as Multiecuscan or Alfaobd or a dealer system. General non Fiat diagnostics probably can't do it (proxy alignment)

If you are planning a trip down south, I have the Multiecuscan software on a laptop and can reset it for you. I did it in mine last year when mine went!

For resetting the Proxy alignment I think the Fiat Multiecuscan software only works on the Fiat Ducato. If your van is Peugeot based it will have a different ECU and you may have to use a Peugeot dealer unless you can find an independent with the correct software.

I believe multiecuscan will do a proxi scan but will not access engine ecus for boxer ,relay but Alfaobd will. alfaobd was not preffered for proxi alignment. I have both if anybody has the need. there is also a list on Fiat forum
there is one member in Wrexham.

Thanks for the offers and advice a little too far to nip out to... But if there is someone in Wrexham with the equipment and the know how( ooo err missus) and willing to help it would be much appreciated.

Wrexham sounds like the nearest, but if you are still struggling, I could post it to you, with the instructions, and you post it back once you are fettled.

Might not be the same but this came up on wife fiat and it was a case of disconnecting the battery leaving a bit then reconnecting
