When you switch off the lights and retire to bed have you noticed how many flashing lights are going all through the night. Strikeback/Growler on the dashboard, Victron smart solar (blue flashing light), CO detector, smoke alarm and that is without the glow from the panel over the habitation door. Good job my eyelids are good and block it all out!

Yep. I hate this modern trend for bright blue or flashing lights.

The whole point of these lights is to show you they are working. A subtle dim red LED is all that is required.
Manufacturers have become morons for some reason.

My van has lots of little squares of electrical tape stuck to everything.

Only the C0 alarm flashes in ours and that's a dull green led. Alarm light is in front of the front screen and that's aluminium so can't see the light through it. Solar regulator is under the double floor.

I managed to turn all the warning lights off and move the solar controller under the seat so it was out of line of site from the bed.
The only thing I forgot was the frost alarm attached to the clock until three in the morning. It even woke muttly from his deep slumber. !!!!!! .

Even the ones tucked away manage to shine through the air circulation gap in the cupboards.

Black tape over microwave light, switch is behind it, so can't switch it off, blue light of the fridge, alarm lights, fortunately solar is in a cupboard, doesn't shine through, thank goodness for a comfy eye mask.
