So, ive an overhead cupboard that came on my motorhome broken, its got the brum soft close hinge, anyone know what the best way to reattach is?screws were pulled so there isn't much 'grab' in them anymore? anyone know any way of getting this kind of issue fixed handy?

If it is a kitchen cupboard type hinge you can get reinforcement plates that move the fixing hole, a make it stronger.

A pic of hinge would help

Plug the screw holes in the frame with pieces of matchstick and put screws back in.

The "proper" way is to drill holes for dowels where each screw was. Glue the dowels in place and when set and trimmed flush refit the hinge. :)

Word of warning: use a pillar drill with a depth stop to avoid going all the way through the door when drilling the holes for the dowels!

Best to hand drill the existing holes with a loose drill bit to open the hole and clean it up.
With a reasonably sharp knife cut and fettle dowels to fit the holes .squirt in some clear setting wood glue and tap in the dowels.clean up any exuded glue.
When set file off any dowel sticking out.
Position the hinges and Mark the centres. Drill a small pilot hole in the marked position taking care not to go too deep. Refit the hinge and screws, hand tight ( dont use a power tool)and fit the door .
This should result in a sturdy hinge.

Agreed. One of our overheads was poorly fitted. Turns out it was butchered when installed at the manufacturers. I took off, drilled, dowels glued in with epoxy glue, new pilot holes for screws. Door has been solid since.
