Fixed side steps

Swmbo struggles a little getting into the 2019 ducato cab . Any recommendations of suppliers for cab steps ? Also would be interested in recommendations for aftermarket hab retractable steps (or are they more bother than they are worth ?)

I got mine from Essanjay ltd in Poole. Not cheap but then neither is quality. The design appears to have changed from what is showing on their website. This is what they were offering

Their latest rendition is squared off at the rear of the step. I looked at a retractable step for the hab door but the Chausson hab drop step made it extremely difficult to fabricate the hardware to fit a retracting step below. Then there was the road clearance to worry about.

My fix is, I get the plastic step out of the garage before SWMBO makes an appearance

Around £395 but that was back in Sept 2020. I was into SKIing at the time (Spending the Kids Inheritance). Well still am

£279 a pair available now on eBay. Just search for “Fiat Ducato Side Step”. Easy enough to fit if you are a diy type - a few holes to be drilled. It is excellent and does make it easier to get in/out!
