Hi all hopefully we can have the fixit meet the week after the spring bank holiday 3/5 June

That's a shame Bill , were booked up in June or would have come along.
Weve soul rally 3/5 June , then a holiday to Crete (Sissi) back in time for Misterton 24/27 June.

The site for the fixit meet is family friendly with play Park for the children on site.
Ther will be a evening camp fire this year.
So bring along a a bag of wood for sumcamp fire fun and BBQ It will be in a fire pit
Old clothes would be a good idea to Ware

It will be £6.00 per night if you can ether fix things or need sumthig fixing it is one of those meats where everyone chips in or just stands back and let things happen.
The concept has worked for the last two years and grat times had by most who turn up

If you can ether fix problems with motorhomes or need sumthig fixed it worked very well Ther is usually a good mix of skills turn up from joiners to electrical engineering folks to good DIY enthusiast if you have a skill or not all are welcome you ether get sum thing fixed or end up helping some one in sum way even just having coffee with new friends on the hill some grat friendships have Ben forged frome the meets
 
Thanks for that. I was more interested in the venue, how much it costs etc. I see it's £6 per night, what facilities are available.

Hi Bill, really enjoyed this meet last year. Great for anyone that has never been to a rally.
We had nothing to fix ........looked on a lot and helped where i could.......and thoroughly enjoyed the meet.

Can't make plans for this year yet but i hope it goes well.
 
I have set a events in the events calendar pleas reply to ether this thread or RSVP on the events thread.

This year generators yes you can bring them.
But consideration for others not before 0900 and not after 2100
Apart from that Ther are no restrictions

Jobs that were reparrd last year were every thing from a loose hinge to a zog fited.
A awning fixed and awning rale fited a fridge fixed sky lite leek repaid.
And lots of electrical stuff done
This year hopefully Ther will be another good mix to get those little jobs done or that oil changerand not costing a penny apart from parts and a beer or two around the camp fire

Bill I think the problem was short notice. People had already made other plans.

Irnbru had promised to give me tips .. but still waiting. :)
