I am contemplating fitting 1500 watt inverter to my 2016 Bursner Nexxo on a Fiat base.
I am confused where such an inverter could be fixed in proximity to the leisure batteries.
Does anyone have any info on my problem.

If you consider you will have low voltage and high current supplying you want that as short as possible to minimise loss and heat. Also I would give thought to ventilation as these things can create some heat under load and may well have fans fitted so air flow is good to have.

A 1500W inverter may require some 150Amp at 12V (allowing that the inverter will lose some power just from the conversion). Can your battery(s) cope with that current with out getting fried, even for short periods?

I would agree the correct spec of cable is required, 1500W is now considered to be small, I have a 2kw looking to go the 3kw. The dealer we visited for some work now said it will be the norm to have 3kw coupled with lithium batteries.

Also if you are going to run the inverter anywhere near its capacity if you have conventional batteries you will need a 400 a/h battery bank.

Thanks for the interest and help.
I have a 175 w solar panel with two 100 amp hr batteries.
I am hoping to run a toaster, ramoska or kettle individually, not together.

Back of a Fag Packet calculations;

1000W Kettle (Camper Kettle) (One Litre), 80Amps per hour. To Boil One Litre=5mins = 12th of 80Amps = 7Amps
Toaster could be the same but watch the watts of the unit.

Thanks Emmit, not lucky savvy will look closely.

Remember Pontyboy,
If you have 2 x100Amp Batteries, you have a maximum of 100 Amps of usable juice. Wet/Acid batteries should not be taken below 50% of their available output.
