After 3 weeks in France with 6 stops, we have just spent a week in Spain in Roses at Camping Salata, campsite is situated 5 mins from the beach, it has a 3 km prom and a decent town, lots of great eateries. Facilities are great, clean showers and toilets and unlike France they had toilet seats, toilet rolls and showers that didn’t need a button press every 3-5 seconds. We immediately noticed that prices and goods in Spain are a lot cheaper, we also noticed most people visiting are French because it’s cheaper, we have eaten out a lot more here. There are a few more brits here, we didn’t bump into many in France. One slight miff here was that there are not a lot of places for dog walking as they are banned on the beach, there is a bit of scrubland thats not very exciting or the prom. We did sneak our two jack russels on to the beach early doors as I think the locals were doing it and again late evening. However it has been a great week, with all weather conditions achieved. Moving on tomorrow to chase the sun. Tamarit.
