Just bought an Eriba FT 580
So we took the plunge and changed to a lifepo4 battery. It's a game changer.

Creabest 135 Ah as it fits perfectly under the seat - cheap chinese option. It weighs 13 kg replacing 2 times 80 ah agm at 40kg.

The MH being 20 years old I didn't expect the onboard charger to support the battery so I ditched it in favour of a lifepo4 specific 30A charger (upgraded the cabling) and I fitted a socket and a circuit breaker so it can be mostly off when on EHU - only on when needed.

Two 180W panels and a 30A MPP controller.

1500W inverter (may go to 2KW for her indoors hairdryer but we'll see).

Running the kettle, toaster, plancher, ceramic heater etc no problems at all (no, not all at once). Currently in Spain where the solar recharge is usually 15 to 20 amps.

The app that comes with it is basic but good. It has a switch - for storage simply turn the battery off. They suggest it's good for 3000 cycles. A month in we've used 3.

So it's fair to say I flipping love it. We haven't been on EHU for 22 days.

Next major upgrade will be a either a second one or a bigger one.

Totally agree, we had the ecotree lithium that we " won" in the raffle last year,( half price battery) its been brilliant. Looking now to further upgrade with lithium friendly chargers ,but not really needed any yet. Ours is a 100ah with bluetooth bms built in so can monitor over the phone. We plan to increase our lithium capacity now that prices are down. (y)
