First Camping-Car Park in Spain

Interesting that they've branched into Spain. It's not though on or near a route we'd take and being in the mountains definitly not in autumn or early spring.

We went through France this year, so I bought the membership card and added the minimum top-up just in case... haven't used it yet. I don't think it expires though, so it'll just sit in the glovebox...

Not a fan of Camping car Parks but that one looks OK and no dearer than a lot of the camper parks in Spain.

Even that part of Spain will be a tad hot in July and August... I'll be using it in 10 years when the trees are more mature...
Aires. Camperparks, Camperstops or what ever name you pin on them are greatly increasing right now....We quite like the occasional night on Camper car park locations... sensible pitch separation, secure and not at all expensive.
There is already a similar scheme in existence here in Spain...offering overnight prices of 6.05€ I recall there being a handful currently in the Ciudad Real Municipality..While the demand remains high the expansion will continue. The 200 or so vans at Foz last July is evidence that Spain is doing very well from visitors arriving in motorhomes...👍🇪🇦

Though they a minority of the sites, the 'Camping du Mon Village' sites are often ex municipal sites, and very spacious.

In the summer season, they have decent showers etc. one I stayed on, in a tent, even had a snack bar/cafe.

The membership is annual so it does expire. Not sure what happens to any credit if you don't renew though.

It's not annual its valid for life. Don't keep any money on ours just top up with the amount we need to get out when leaving.

The App shows all the stopovers inc Camping Mon Village, The map on the app is also very useful.
I pick and choose which ones we might use and will definitely use them en route to Spain in Feb. You can see at a glance how many spaces are available thus avoiding any wasted journeys. Many times, we have gone to Aires in some towns only to find they are full.

No you're right it's the Pack Privileges that expires. I have that and it allows us to book a pitch in advance, and on the day, as well as leaving and re-entering a site multiple times without losing access to a pitch on that site.
