First camp site hook up issue

Hello all

When I've plugged the van in at home I've had my victron 3000w multi plus inverter switched to on. It pulled 1500w from the grid as expected.

I've just got to a camp site and plugged in and I could only get 150w from the mains power with the inverter switched to on. I've been messing about with it and now put the inverter onto charger only mode and it's pulling 1500w.

Any ideas? Is it a camp site thing?

No, it shouldn't be anything to do with the camp site. My Multiplus 3000 I can draw whatever I could draw from my house supply. I have often had a microwave, travel kettle and 500W fan heater working at the same time, on a site and at home on the driveway.

When you say you can only get 150W, what exactly happens if you try to draw more than that?
