Firework display

Hi,
Hilldweller Brian put a notice of a firework display in August for
Cawthorne Hall or a name similar.
As we understand it there is a competition between several firework masters to
see who has the best display so it should be good. I have seen reference to the
possibility of the hall having a caravan site open this year does anyone know of any
contacts or even a local site near.
Is there any Funster meetings near there or can one stay at the hall with ones "MRH"
(motorhome royal highness).

I keep phoning to ask if their campsite will be open by then but don't get an answer. I am allegedly going to be emailed.

It was excellent last year. We went in MH so could take all we'd need and somewhere to wait but not allowed overnight in the car park.

I have sent a request to the Hall a few minutes ago to see if there is any provision for
motorhomes to stop overnight and also looked at this link we found.

I will post if there is any reply from the hall and see if we can stop over either there or near
to the display.

Here is the hall, zoomed in on the "Caravan Field". Allegedly full facilities are being built now.

"We" sit to the north of the lake in front of the hall, the fireworks are done on the south side, adding reflections to the glory.

I hope we make it but we just may have to babysit.

We are due to re-open our Caravan site this year, and are currently working with a Company who will be providing a new facilities block, plus adding new hard standing pitches etc.

Because of the work taking place we do not have a definite opening date, although I do know we are looking at August hopefully.

Therefore at present I cannot take your booking, but will put you on our list of enquiries and will get back in touch as soon as the opening date has been confirmed.
