Merry Christmas everyone,
Can anyone tell me in the simplest laymans terms if I can use a firestick on my TV abroad to watch British programmes, or even on my laptop.

Yes as long as you have enough data or access to WiFi.....

BUT.... If you are planning watching said British TV programmes on the likes of iplayer, 4 on demand etc you may need a VPN which basically tricks those platforms in to thinking you are still in the UK.

There are not entirely legal ways of watching UK TV issue free but that's a different discussion.

you may need a VPN
Or a British SIM card if using a mobile data source (e..g your mobile phone, or motorhome wifi). But see other threads that are highlighting that it's much harder to get decent amounts of data for roaming currently.

On a laptop I believe you would need an hdmi input, which a lot of laptops don't have.

You should be fine, we lift the U.K. at the end of October and been using the FS for tv with no issues, we do turn the video quality down to save data even though we’re unlimited and haven’t noticed a difference.
