Can anyone recommend somewhere near Bath for servicing/warranty/repairs/etc. for a Fiat based motorhome (Fleurette Winchester)?

I'm about to do the round robin phone calls, but personal recommendations are always preferred :)

I also appreciate that "near Bath" may be up to several hundred miles away ...

We get our van MOT’d here - they also work on motorhomes as well.

Annoyingly it’s in the Bath CAZ zone, we are over 3.5tonne, so it costs us £9 extra for each MOT!

We are 4.4T so probably in the same boat!
Thanks for the info. You'd recommend them?

I can’t say they’ve done any work on our van, apart from fixing the horn on the last MOT, but Cliff seems to rate them as a garage (I’m a girl, so I don’t know!)

I know that garage - I can imagine driving it in ok, but getting it out again....!

How big is your van? I'm 7.5m x 2.3w x 2.85h - that road looks awful tight to me ... did you find it ok?

Chestleton MH in Wellington.
They quoted via email, charged exactly that, did exactly what I asked, and nothing to complain about.
I live in Melksham and would go there again (actually, I am in a few months lol)
They only do MH's and mostly Fiat - and are Fiat Pro authorised and have the ability to check/update ECUs etc.
Importantly, huge carpark and workshop - no worries about grannies in their corsas.

I don't trust garages/mechanics, but they really did exactly what I asked, updated ECU etc and all my glitches went away.

We’re 8m + a bike rack, the same width as you and 3.1H

Cliff makes sure he books well in advance and is the first MOT of the day, and he waits there until it’s done.

The road is usually quite clear and he manages to get in and out OK.

I use Huttons Fiat at Weston-super-Mare.

I've had all servicing done there for over a decade, and found them generally fair and reasonably priced, especially for an authorised dealer.

Chelston Motorhomes. Conveniently just a mile from J26 M5. Luckily my nearest Fiat Pro. Not used them yet so thanks for the review.(y)
