Fiat series 10.1 inch media system

Has anyone got the fiat 10.1 inch media system in their series 9 or 10 motorhome . Can it be used when the ignition is turned off and you are parked up ? I am told it turns itself off after 15 mins unless the engine is running . Is this true? Does anyone have experience of this or found a setting to stop it switching off ?

There are two setting 0 min & 20 min regardless of which one I select it still turns off after 20 min.

Do you plan to fix that, Lenny? I got a friend to install a switch and relay on my Hymer to overcome this. The Pioneer head unit I had ate electrons but was OK for an hour or so, or on EHU.

Not investigated it yet, too many other mods to do.
