So our 2015 A Class Ducato has finally succumbed to the dreaded Air Bag ECU issue. That despite waiting for all the dash lights to go out before starting since new. It came on mid-way through a trip back from the borders. Currently, starter battery reading is 12.9 volts. I am not going down the reset route with crash data etc.

I normally use AM Philips at Broxburn but a friend of mine was charged, wait for it, £800 to replace said ECU by them! I reckon that is way over the top so thought I would look for an alternative Fiat dealer and have come up with Ian Grieve of Falkirk who do service motorhomes. Before I get a quote from them, does anyone have experience of them.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I think if you go down the Fiat Professional route that is what it will cost. I have read about good service from Ian Grieve though.

£400 is about what I am thinking - £800 is having a laugh as far as I can see.
