Hi,

Our hymer 2000 model year drivers electric window has been intermittent for some time, mostly working ok.

Now it has stopped altogether. I have checked the fuses, all okay. But there is no power to the switch.

Could anyone point me in the right direction please ?.

I cannot find any relays and the manuals are in German .

I'm sure someone had a similar problem -think it was the wire as it came past the hinge where it flexes a lot

We have had this with our Hymer 584 year 2000
The fuse for the window switch is not the one shown on the diagram on the glove box it's in there but not the one shown.

Checked loom electrically?
Moved it around with continuity to see if its make or break?
Fuse ok? have you tried another fuse in case of resistance ie fuse ok on meter but breaking down on load?
No power at all at switch, both poles?
Motor kaput? can you get power to it to check?

I have had motors fail on a couple of fiats.

My year 2000 hymer had same problem it was the switch , managed to take it apart and refitted contacts inside. It has worked ever since .

Hi there, have tested both connectors in the loom for power, only one is live, bought new switch, still no joy, I think it's a job for the auto-electrician methinks.

Only one should have 12v on it.
