Hello all I need help!

I’ve just plugged my electric cable up but the 3 pin plugs are not working, I’m not sure if the cable is powering the motor home or do I need to switch over the leisure battery to the cable or should it do it automatically??

Thanks for any help!

It should do it automatically. The telltale light on bottom of panel is not alight. Check you have power to the cable. Check fuse in plug if plugging in at home.

On the centre of the panel the bottom right symbol has a lead on it. Theres alittle led above it that should be lit. I know its obvious but is it one of those posts on a site where you have to twist the plug to make it switch on?.

Thanks guys for your replies, yes first I checked that there is power to the camp site posts, then yes I had to twist the cable to activate, the plug fuses are fine on the appliances so I don’t understand why it’s not putting the light on the panel or any power to the sockets.??

Have you tried moving to different socket on supply post, any one around you could borrow lead from to check it's not the lead. If not just check that cables are connected ok on the ends of your lead. Sorry the fuse I meant was on the adaptor plug if connecting at home

Have you checked the trip switches haven't acted isolating the van. I have a Suite Relax and the switches are under the seat behind the passenger near the boiler

Try someone elses hook up lead if you have a friendly neighbour and check the socket in the side of your van has 3 pins and they are reasonably clean. If it works with someone elses lead its most probably the plug on the end of your lead that fits in the socket on your van.
