Just got mine too. Booked in next week - allow about an hour I’ve been told.

Mine says 1/2 hour to check and 2.6 hours to replace, if needed

:LOL: :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Does that include the flight time to send it from Italy.

It's a plastic clip Oh Please!, how difficult can it be.

The check includes assessing the condition of the brake pipes and the 2.6 hours is if the pipes need to be replaced - the letter says

Did Fiat send a letter through the post to make all owners aware of this?, If so I didnt get one, van is the same age as those mentioned.
I haven't checked the traffic light recall on the Phone App system recently either as the last time I did it wasnt operating anymore, shame if that is the case, as it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Thanks
LES

A visual check under the bonnet taking only a few minutes was all that was needed because the clip was present. If it had been missing it might have taken a little longer.

You can check your vehicle for recalls on the Fiat Camper website.

This particular recall has been ongoing for a while, so if some owners are only just getting letters there may be others not yet notified.

Only received my letter today fiat Keswick said they have known about it for a couple of weeks.

peugeot boxer as the same recall .ours in next week

only 58 Boxers affected in whole of UK according to local dealer with 2% change of any of those needing repair. if so vehicle would be off roaded, and only collectable a few days later as parts would only be released by central stores for an actual repair.

found this out when booking in for an MOT today having already been aware of the issue from using Peugeots Service Box to research parts for van conversion November last year. DVLA only recently posting this recall and neither making direct communication to registered keeper

Mine must be one of the 58, got the letter this morning for my 69 plate Fiat Ducato base Chausson. Local Fiat Professional can't fit me in for 3 weeks!!

Mine must be one of the 58
58 Boxers and then only 2% chance of those needing a repair= 1 Boxer in UK

would imagine Fiat Ducato's have the same ratio's as built in same factory

Just arrived home to find the recall letter. Ours is on a 2019 Knaus 2.3 150bhp.

We are based in Cheshire and I have been trying to find our nearest Fiat Professional garage (we bought from SMC and want to avoid the long trip there if we don't need to go!) I have found Sherwood Truck and Van in Stoke and Travelworld - can anyone recommend a garage???

Our last van was on a Ford so the Fiat is a whole new ball game for us and we were hoping not to have to think about it for a while yet!

Got ours , booked it into Walton Summit nr Preston and they told me that I should have had another recall for some attention to the throttle box.

We took ours here to save a trip to SMC.

I haven't received a recall letter (yet).

Something tells me that FIAT ought to stop using such cheap nasty clips. My toolbag now contains jubilee clips in various sizes, and amalgamating tape.

Hi does anyone have a photo of the clip in the engine on the bulkhead that Fiat is referring to as we cannot get to a Fiat garage for a few weeks ( we will be booking in for the garage to assess) & just wanted to know what we are looking for under the bonnet. Thanks for any help.

Just checked our 2.3 180 Hymer B678DL 2018 on Fiats web site no recalls ?? thanks for posting link Deneb ?

I haven't received a letter but my vehicle is showing this recall on their website. I phoned local(ish) dealer who told me that it was an initial inspection and if there was a problem a photo would be taken and sent to Fiat headquarters. A fix would not be immediate.

Received my letter this morning, booked in for next Wednesday to have it looked at.

Mine being checked whilst in for its 3 year service and 1st MOT in April, it’s a pain that they only order parts if it’s faulty, means either another trip or they won’t let you drive it home!! Here’s hoping nothing faulty! Ours is a 2017 Fiat 180 comfortmatic. Fiat Professional garage in Broxburn near Edinburgh.

I was told the same before I took mine in a couple of months ago.
