Fiat Base A Class Pilote, whats the socket on the dash 230V AC?

hi, whats this 230V AC, 150W socket on the dash, in the centre console, just above the drinks holders. Pilote A Class on Fiat (24 plate).
i have tried googling, looked on MH forums here, and the fiat manuals, but cannot locate any info? thanks in advance.

Odd? Probably not a factory fit. Do you have or did it have an inverter? What do the pins look like?

I looked at one recently. Dealer said it had a built in inverter. He didn’t know what size. Said it was for laptops etc.

Looks like it’s 150w.

came with the van from new, as far as i know not anything we added, unless it came as part of some random add-on. dealer never specifcally said anything about it, and to be honest never really paid much attention to it until recently...

150w is only a titchy inverter and anything you want it for would need a very odd plug. Possibly an Italian one

Italian plug to UK 3 pin plug.
eBay, £10 for four.

thanks all for the info, let me get hold of one of those 3pin convertor and try it sometime. will report back when have any news.
