On the back of the MH there is a bike rack with a label on it claiming it to be a Thule Omni bike lift…. It looks like this currently:

We have a little winding handle that makes the bits the bikes would sit on horizontal.

Now we would like to mount something on the back for storage, given this baby doesn’t really have much space for stuff (the new awning will probably need to go in the small garage so need a space for the bits that are already in there… outside seats and table, levelling blocks, hook up cable, water hose etc)

Now the only product I can see with my googling skills is the Fiamma ultra box in various sizes, and these only mention that they will fit on Fiamma bike racks of a certain type. I’m aware of weight limit - the rack says 50kg max, so if I go for the 500l box at 17kg I know I can add 33kg of stuff in it.

Before I spend the hard earned readies on one of these babies, does anyone have any experience of attaching one to a non-Fiamma bike rack and can offer advice on how easy/difficult or if it is possible? Or any other options we might have for a waterproof storage box?

Thanks in advance for any help

Having been the above premises - https://bags4everything.co.uk/product/bike-rack-rear-storage-bag-large/. - their bag looked better than the Fiiama one we currently have.

I’ve proofed our fiama bag to stop leaks, with the frame inside it is very useful. Putting wood in the bag 4 everything one would make if rigid and easier to use than the fiama one with frame inside.

You may also want to consider a strong plastic storage box with locks as truckers use
Could be bolted to the rack, remove the rack part for the wheels and bolt the box to the rack using those holes and a couple of U bolts at the back.
