Hi, looking to fit an Fiamma roll out sun awning to my Elddis 135. Are there specific structural hard points where the mounting brackets fit or can have it fitted with simply the Fiamma supplied standard kit?
Thanks in anticipation of your advice.

The Fiamma brackets fit on specific points on the awning depending on the length, the brackets are bonded and bolted to the MH at the appropriate points - drilled straight through with a backing plate to spread the load, no hard points needed.
The only concern is that you have access inside the MH where the brackets will be.

I upgraded mine last year from a 3m to 4.25m Fiamma F45S, I couldn´t use the old brackets because they were either out of position or only half the size, fortunately the new bracket points were accessible, being in a cupboard, above the fridge vent and above a shelf.

If you do it yourself, the 3m ones are ok to handle but above that they are f.in heavy and awkward, you will need assistance, preferably young and strong.

In summary, yes I think you can use the standard kit.

Thanks Roby, that's great.
