Ferry left without me today - feeling a bit glum.

Supposed to be on the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry this morning for the start of a 7 week trip down to Spain and Portugal for some winter sun.

Had to cancel the trip a couple of days ago due to unforeseen events. Hopefully will be able to get away again before too long. Nonetheless, waking up in a grey West Wales whilst watching the DFDS Seven Sisters head towards Dieppe on the Ship Tracker app, without us on board was dispiriting to say the least.

Look on the bright side we were only saying this morning that we wish we had come out later.
Very busy. Harder to find parking. Weather is not as good as it was last year.
Parked at Ikea murcia at least 4 times the vans from last year.

We travelled on the Seven Sisters overnight sailing at 11 pm on Wednesday which was not a good idea as it lands at 5am, we did have a cabin for what it was worth but it was not warm enough and you cannot adjust the temperature at all.
Will not bother again and next year use Brittany Ferries Portsmouth to Santander.
