The gas alarm in MH (wired into 12 v )is supposed to flash green for a few seconds then go off but it keeps flashing green continuously ...is it done for ?

My gas alarm flashes green every 10 secs or so and perfectly normal. It is just an indication to say it is on and working.

Hold a cig lighter under the sensor, and let some gas out to test it

Will try that but it states in instructions that it blinks a few times to test itself then goes off ?

Mine flashes green continuously-CBE brand. It is working though as it goes off when I fill with LPG ! - unless I remember to turn it off
