Fanjeaux - great little park up

I know some have been here before, but nothing wrong with highlighting it again. Lovely little medieval cite, with lots of metal artwork and sculptures with the benefit of an app and small brochure highlighting them throughout the town. Lovely stroll for the evening and well worth considering if your in in the Carcassonne area.

Thanks for the heads up on Fanjeaux - was looking for somewhere near Carcassonne its not our usual route to Bordeaux so appreciate your posting. Any other gems?

Not sure yet, got a couple picked out but it all depends on what time we get up!! Will post any that I think are worth visiting .....
We've just picked up a great leaflet from the tourist office, it shows all the motorhome Aires in the region! I'll try to pick up a couple more tomorrow and pass one on to you at Thorpe?
