Fairy Tale Route Euros 24

Hi we are new to motorhoming and just about to embark on our first tour … hoping to cover the Fairy Tale Route . I’m just wondering if anyone is over in Germany atm and can tell me if it’s much busier due to the Euros? Should we reconsider? Will all the Stellplatz be full? Many thanks.

Day 4 in Germany, had a great trip over from Newcastle to Ijmuiden and spent our first day in the lovely town of Bochalt, great stellplatz right in the centre, €12 now. Had my first snitzel!! Then off down to Xanten, an old Roman town, got there for an annual German holiday, fair in the main...

Hi, now in our 4th week in Germany, been on the Fairytale and Romantic roads, along the Moselle and now up in Bad Benthien. Stellplatz have all been reasonably quiet, got on everyday without a problem, football not an issue.
Have a look at our journey for some stellplatz suggestions, have a great time, we had lovely weather, but a bit grey today!

Use Park4Night and find quiet and wild places. If parking is not allowed for mohos, respect this. No signs of camping on parkings. Stellplatz areas might be very busy now that holidays begin. For campings you better make a reservation or arrive at noon the latest. Infrastructure is very good in Germany, with good service for mohos. If any more questions, please let me know.
