Extra seat, seat belt mountings in 2013 Ducato Autotrail 632 coach built MoHo. Help and suggestions required. (1 Viewer)

We have an Autotrail 632 2013 manufacture date. I want to fit an extra folding seat into the well underneath the driver’s side couch/double seat. I’ve worked out how to attach it through the floor to the chassis rail beneath and discussed this with my MOT tester and agreed the design/strength of brackets as per Government guidance notes. The only thing that’s taxing me now is where to mount the shoulder height seat belt bracket. All you guys with more modern MoHo’s than ours can you post some pics of where they are mounted, or suggest how I might mount the bracket please? I had thought of making the seat face backwards and utilise the driver’s side shoulder bracket mount, but really prefer that the seat faces forwards. Any thoughts?

Elddis fit a folding travel seat under the couch on 2013 or newer Aspire 255 i assume the shoulder mount folds down with it.

Yes it does. We removed two of these as we dont use them and it saves 30kgs payload.(30 bottles of wine)
They are fixed through the floor with a u shape bracket under the chassis.
The seat belt is all part of the seat.

How legal would this be?

I didn't think adding extra travel seats and seat belts was acceptable unless fully certified.

Puddleduck I checked with my MOT tester and he agreed with my method of mounting it.
