Hi all

:hiya2:

First post, first motorhome picked up last week. I got a 2012 Swift 686 lifestyle (so far its dry and no damp, i checked myself :D) Seems solid enough for a swift, nothings falling off and most stuff seems to works that we need to.

Been a camper vanner for a number of years (too small) and also had a camper trailer (could never bring myself to get a full caravan) so OK with the basics, but now started with a motorhome as that was our dream to do when we could afford it. We deserved the luxury ::bigsmile:

I do have a question. The previous owner left a whale pump in the drawer. It works well when I drop it on another battery, but I have a two pin plug on the side of the van next to the water inlet that it does not work when i plug it in that:wondering:. Is there a switch i am missing? I tried with the power on, and with the water pump on

Any ideas or should it come on when i plug it in (ie no switch)

Thank you !

I would expect it to work as soon as plugged in but worth checking your control panel. .
Possibly a fuse blown or wire detached. Need to access the filler inside the van then follow the wiring to find the fuse or wiring break.

It might be the connection for pumping water into your tank in which case the pump might be fitted in your van as standard .
