We spent four nights last weekend at the C&M Centenary Club site at Bransgore in the New Forest last weekend. A lovely, well kept site with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Whilst there, my partner made first use of our external gas connection and the portable two burner gas stove that has been languishing in our rear garage since we bought the motorhome last July. The result was an incredibly tasty dish of pan roasted salmon with rosemary, garlic and pasta......fantastic! Now I have your taste buds salivating....onto my question. Whilst the dinner was being cooked I took a look at the external shower point on the MH (also yet to be used). The instructions in the Burstner manual refer to operating the shower but not to draining it, which are left to this sticker inside the external locker door. Can someone decipher these for me please:
Is the 'emptying valve in the vehicle the pump'?
'open solenoid valve (open water tap)'? What tap?
'open setback valve in the regulator...plug pin or screwdriver in' . Why not just plug the shower attachment in to drain the water?
Also, I couldn't actually get the shower to work The black plastic rocker switch would not flick down. I could feel it would snap off if I forced it. Is that to operate the pump and if so, do I need the pump switched on inside the MH at the same time? (manual quiet on this point).
Before I isolate the 12v system and unscrew the rocker switch....any ideas?
