My Ducato Bulb dash warning light is on but all brake, indicator, sidelights reverse, fogs , headlights are working no dud bulbs so Im wondering what it could be ,, and how to reset it . spent an hour checking everything .

Needed up swapping working bulbs for new ones on mine, and that sorted it to never return. Sidelight bulb in headlight from memory.

I’ve had to do the same in old van, rear side light top marker.
Think it’s resistance from the cheaper bulbs throwing the circuit off so the sensor triggered

The bulb failure warning in our Saab was triggered by a corroded bulb holder. Typically I started checking from the front and it was the n/s rear tail light bulb holder. Spraying and the holders with contact cleaner cleared the problem.

I had this once, looked at all the difficult things and eventually found it was a numberplate bulb, just couldn't see it was out.

It could be the towing plug ,socket cable ??? maybe ??? as No bulbs are out I checked twice . But i dont think that the trailer socket is on the same circuit as the bulbs ????

i can see that the repairers did not secure the vans rear bottom plastic panel at the bottom with 2 screws and its been moving on its top slot in brackets when I go over bumps and its been squeezing the towing hook socket cable ??? i will have a look again tommorow and put a couple of Self tapers into the panel to lock it at the bottom ,
But no more today as I have seemed to have gone down with a summer cold and i have zero energy and a thumping headache

Took me ages to find one of the two number plate bulbs had 'slipped its mortal coil'. :frowny:

OK found the fault its one of the number plate lights where the loose Panel has pulled the wires out so one is working the other is not , but have to remove the whole rear panel again and its very fiddly and a 2 person job as its heavy , the wires are hidden so you can see the terminals to fix them back on ....
