Please excuse the dumb question.

The van is a 2010 autosleeper Sussex duo.

Recently went to the CAMC site in Cromer and miraculously travelled back to the 1950s! No phone signal, no interweb, no tv signal (but they do have umpteen roundabouts per mile of roads!)

On the hook up supply post was a TV aerial booster socket, so I connected that to the external aerial socket on the van.... sorted! (or so I thought!). Went inside and switched the TV on, nope still no signal. In my ignorance I thought that the external connection would've overrided the roof aerial connections. Should I have done something to the booster box in the cupboard (photo attached)?

I had the TV moved from the offside under cupboard are to the nearside wardrobe wall before purchase, so assume the 'Y' piece connections are to do with that?

Thanks in advance.

I normally connect the aerial cable from the post directly to the tv. If you have more than one then I would have thought that connecting it to the “ant inl socket would work. it will still need to be powered too. Hope you get sorted.

Thank you, I only have one tv, but, as it's a pvc, the only opening windows are the small sliding ones behind the cab.

To be fair Cromer was the only place where I would've needed to use it. I do have BBC iplayer etc etc, so with t'interweb I can view tv through those mediums.

Thank you

Try the white lead from the Y splitter into the TV IN socket.
Failing that you'll have to find end of the external socket and fit to the tx
