Going through things I want to change / fix on our new to us Lakia , have found out that although the exterior lockers close securely most of them do not lock so looking to rectify this and minimise the amount of keys to carry. The locks in question are push / turn locks that I cant get to lock shown in photo attached, Research I have done on here and online shows I need to replace the barrels and buy the red key to remove old barrels, is this correct? The photos I have attached are all Zadi locks.

That's correct however when I was looking for a "red" key in the Classified Wanted" section a Funster advised you could use a pointed slim "steak" knife instead!
Not tried it yet though.

I did see this done with a steak knife on a You tube video, I suppose its worth a try given that the red key is a tenner.

I bought a Red Key, but it still didn't enable me to remove the barrel. I haven't tried the steak knofe solution either!

You can also eat a pot noodle with a screwdriver but it doesn’t mean you should.

Have you tried releasing fluid in the locks? Previous owner may just not have used them enough to keep them active. I understand reducing the amount of keys.

You could always post your red key to me for a second opinion on if it's working or not! :whistle2:
Once you've tried, and maybe broken your good steak knife, gonna tell me not to try it!(y):giggle:

Update, I have now managed to get all exterior lockers to lock now, it seems once again I wasn't being forceful enough when pushing them to lock, I have to bash them in to get them to stay shut, Will try some fluids as suggested later which may help? At least they lock now. Which will make me a little happier when leaving the mh unattended. Thanks to all who replied.

Try graphite powder it's good for locks it lubricates far better than oil or wd40.

Funnily enough one of ours locks now needs a bit more "thumping" to get it to stay in.
