Hi there fun guys

Dollie, has had her gear box sorted, but changing gears is a problem, so mechanic suggested a Clutch Extension, as my wee legs are far too short, and the driver seat, is at its nearest to the pedals now.
After an 8 h r journey collecting her from Somerset, my poor knee joint feel quite bruised and somewhat dislocated with the press ure forcing my leg forward to change gears.

Question
Does anyone know of such a a thing?, and if so, where do i purchase them, and where can i get one fitted in suffolk please ?

Thank you for all your help on this one, as at present, i dont think long distances are achievable for me

does anyone know where i can find one and get it fitted in suffolk pleasellllllllll

5ft little legs, means double de clutching in my old MH is causing slight dislocation to my left knee haha

I'm sure an adaptation would be possible
Research disability / mobility adaptation companies in your area, someone will be able to do it

If you Google "pedal extentions" there are loads of companies doing them.
They are very easy to fit you should be able to do it yourself.
thanks for letting me know, as for doing this on my own ? hilarious, i dont even know how to change a tyre etc hahah.. under the bonnet mmmm leave that to mechanics hahah

I remember a dwarf ( can ye say dwarf ) used to bring his mini in tae the garage for servicing. He just had a big dod of wood screwed to his pedals

It was an absolute mare trying to drive the thing on to the ramp . My knees were beside my chin

I fixed cork sanding blocks to my mums car. At least now you can buy proper extentions.

strangely, that's what I was going to suggest, because my accelerator pedal was too narrow and close to the brake on my Ducato, I fashioned a piece of ply and screw it to my accelerator pedal with a couple of hex head self tapping screws.

If I had the OP's problem, I would screw a couple of wooden blocks to the clutch pedal or learn to change gear without, after first starting moving, using the clutch.
Just as we had to do with the truck, David Brown crash boxes in the 60's.

There's a place in Ipswich that does mobility things contact them they may be able to help. 🤔
We know Suffolk well, 🙂 after living and working for years in your area. 😁 Bob.

I'm sure there is a place near Newmarket that builds mobility Motorhomes. Cannot remember their names but might be worth a Google?

We loved Bury st Edmund's, Janie got quite upset at the market one day when I put my foot down, and wouldn't let her buy the baby goat she was cuddling. 😁
We have looked in The Nutshell, but it's always been full. 🤔
Daughter number two is out at the moment lives in Weeting, and the other lives in Norwich. 🙂
We lived at Thornham Mangna and the moved to Hoxne, a bit near the border with those Norfolk folk. 😲 😎 Bob.

Thank you for that :) I may need the push / pull control at some point (waiting to find out if my ankle can be fixed atm). Our son lives in Six Mile Bottom so not so far away from you. Also I have family in Ipswich and would like to visit at some point.
