Picking up my newish Rapido today from Zaragoza. We decided to fly, which is 2 flights. From Alicante to Palma Majorca, then onto Zaragoza. First stage complete, the plane dropped us off at Palma at the same gate as the Zaragoza flight. So we are hanging around having a coffee, waiting for our 11am flight. Should land around 12pm at Zaragoza, the Rapido garage is next door to the airport, so hopefully driving home around 2 ish. Then it's a 6 hrs drive south, back home. I should get used to the automatic by then, but it's all motorway home.

At the garage,

Had an 7 hour drive back home in the van yesterday, we were stuck around the V30/V31 for a few hours in rush hour traffic. The automatic gearbox was great, basically just using the brake peddle in the traffic. Kept it in eco mode upto Valencia, which was OK, had to press my foot down going up steep hills though. In contrast i put it in normal mode after Valencia, and what a difference. It just flew up steep hills, with no effort at all. I was driving between 90kph and 110kph and seemed to be good on the fuel.
Plus points, the gear box, wipers when it was raining. The 9inch Pioneer head unit, which bluetooths everything off your phone(Google maps on full screen). Another nice touch is when you unlock the van, the outside light comes on, and the step comes out.
Now the minus points, no auto headlights, no auto windscreen wipers, no courtesy light. Also no clock on the dashboard (unless there is a setting for it). Also the wife doesn't know which door to get out of the van😀.

All in all, I'm very impressed with the van. Can't wait to get out in it, but the wife goes to Australia on Saturday for a few weeks. So will have to wait till she gets back.

Great to hear the journey went well.
The 9inch Pioneer head unit,
Be aware that those head units apparently use large amounts of power when the vehicle is parked & can easily flatten the battery in no time. I think many people fit an isolator switch to the live feed if leaving for any length of time.

Yes there is an isolator switch, I need to find out off the previous owner if it runs off the leisure battery aswel.
