WARNING: new (old) motorhome content ahead

Very excited because just this last week we put down a deposit on a new (old) motorhome! To be prepared & ready for our Belgian/French trip end of next month.

She's a Pilote Atlantis. Bijoux, cute as a button, and very well looked after on a 52-plate. And with the all-important for us rear traveling seats. We knew as soon as we saw her that she would be our next van.
Any fellow Atlantis owning Funsters?

We are however very sad (heart-broken!:heartbreak::cry::cry::cry:) to be saying goodbye to the Machzone. My first, and a remarkable machine. We've had some adventures.

I've tried to have her refurbished/refitted but ultimately we have found no solution to the fact that we are 3, and Moho has only 2 seatbelts :(
In the infancy of our adventures, Mrs jimothy was prepared to rattle around, unsecured, on the sofa in the back . Not a situation we were ever happy with, and the reason we've done very little in the last couple of years. So it is the correct decision.

Super excited about the new van :roflmto:, but also terribly sad about the old one.

So @Jim I'll be needing a new set of stickers - SAE on its way to you shortly! (y)

And if any Funsters would be interested in taking ownership of a piece of British motorhoming history, then the Machzone Soveriegn will be going on sale.
First dibs to Funsters, no reasonable offer refused, before I be putting her on eBay.

Jamie

Enjoy your new motorhome! :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Have you put it on the for sale section so peeps can have a nosey (y)(y)(y)(y)

That's an ickle one :)
Looks good though and easy to park

Yes, quite dinky compared to the current one! :D

We've been looking for a while on forecourts, on ebay, and hired some top-end ones, and had established a pretty good idea of the layout features we wanted. This one fitted the bill. Bit like buying a house, just felt right as soon as we got in.

Plus we tend to spend our time down small Cornish lanes and atop cliff tops - we've had some tight squeezes in the Machzone! This will be easier, and Sharon feels happier about taking the wheel in the new one.

Yeah I plan to downsize myself ...maybe not quite as small for full timing but a fair bit smaller than what I have now
